Now to get ΔH for this reaction, simply subtract the sum of the reactant bond energies from the sum of the product bond energies and you have it.

Pembahasan

Laju reaksi merupakan laju pengurangan konsentrasi zat pereaktan per satuan waktu dalam suatu reaksi kimia. Dalam suatu reaksi, konsentrasi zat pereaktan akan berkurang, sedangkan konsentrasi produk akan bertambah. Reaksi akan berlangsung hingga tidak terjadi perubahan konsentrasi lagi. Pada kondisi tersebut reaksi dikatakan mencapai kesetimbangan.

Prinsip laju reaksi didasarkan pada teori tumbukan. Reaksi tumbukan menyatakan bahwa partikel-partikel reaktan bergerak bebas secara acak, partikel-partikel bertumbukan sehingga terjadi reaksi. Tumbukn efektif merupakan tumbukan antar partikel yang menghasilkan reaksi kimia. Jika suatu reaksi kimia dinyatakan dengan :

Maka laju reaksi di rumuskan dengan :

v = k [A]ᵃ[B]ᵇ

dimana k adalah konstanta laju reaksi, [A] dan [B] adalah konsentrasi reakan dan a dan b ditentukan berdasarkan percobaan.

Laju reaksi bergantung pada beberapa faktor diantaranya :

Konsentrasi reaktan, reaktan denga konsentrasi pekat akan bereaksi lebih cepat, sehingga laju reaksi meningkat.temperatur, partikel-partikel memiliki cukup energi untuk bergerak akibat adanya temperatur. sehingga semakin tinggi temperatur jumlah tumbukan energi lebih banyak.
