Dahulu kala, ada tiga babi kecil. Saatnya tiba bagi mereka untuk mencari peruntungan dan membangun rumah. Babi kecil pertama membangun rumahnya dari jerami sedangkan saudara tengah memutuskan untuk membangun rumah dari kayu.
Mereka selesai membangun rumah mereka dengan sangat cepat dan tanpa banyak kerja keras. Babi ketiga, yang tertua, memutuskan untuk membangun rumah dari batu bata.
Dia tidak keberatan melakukan kerja keras karena dia menginginkan rumah yang kuat. Dia tahu bahwa di hutan terdekat, ada seekor serigala. Serigala suka menangkap babi kecil dan memakannya.
Saat ketiga rumah selesai dibangun, mereka bernyanyi dan menari dengan gembira sepanjang hari. Setelah menikmati banyak hal, seekor serigala jahat muncul dari hutan. Babi kecil itu ketakutan dan segera bersembunyi di rumahnya yang terbuat dari sedotan.
Serigala jahat besar mendengus dan menggembungkan serta meledakkan rumah dalam beberapa menit. Melihat hal tersebut babi kecil berlari ke rumah saudara tengahnya yang terbuat dari tongkat.
Serigala sekarang datang ke rumah ini. Serigala itu terengah-engah dan menghancurkan rumah itu dalam waktu yang sangat singkat. Kini, kedua babi yang ketakutan itu lari ke rumah kakak tertua mereka yang terbuat dari batu bata.
Serigala jahat besar mencoba untuk menghela nafas dan meledakkan rumah ketiga, tapi dia tidak bisa. Dia terus berusaha selama berjam-jam tetapi rumah itu sangat kuat dan ketiga babi itu aman di dalam.
Dia mencoba masuk melalui cerobong asap tetapi babi ketiga merebus sepanci besar air dan menyimpannya di bawah cerobong asap. Serigala itu jatuh ke dalamnya dan mati.
Sekarang, kedua babi itu merasa kasihan karena malas membangun rumah. Mereka juga membangun rumah mereka dengan batu bata dan ketiga babi kecil itu hidup bahagia selamanya.
